Animals And Fans
It does seem a bit of a weird statement but many pets seem to love riding out the ceiling fans that many of us have in our homes. Why do these animals get attracted to the fans in the first place?
Bugs
Moths seem to be the root of the problem as animals are always looking to catch these things. Many fans actually have lights on them too and if this is on it can attract all kinds of little bugs as well as the noticeable moths. It is mostly cats then tend to do this although some puppies may be interested too. Animals will always try to catch the smaller insects either for fun or because they are in their home or of course because they are hungry.
This means that the animal will head towards the fan which is never a good sign if the fan is switched on.
High Flyers
If you happen to keep birds in your home and you let them have a bit of a fly around sometimes then make sure you switch all of the fans off. Although birds have very active senses and should realise that it is not safe to fly into it there can still be accidents. For example have you ever seen a bird fly into glass?
Curiosity
The saying goes curiosity killed the cat and it is really possible with this. Although exploring comes naturally to all of the smaller animals it is actually a big problem as they will try to get to everything. The ceiling fan seems to cause the most problems so keep an eye on the younger pets to make sure they do not jump into them.
Although there are various things fitted into ac fans to make sure these things do not happen there are sometimes difficulties when it comes to solenoids or even the multicore cables.
